Middle and High school girls from FHDC’s Woodburn properties and from Colonia Libertad in Salem visited Oregon State University in March 2017.  The girls attended a Saturday workshop designed to introduce middle and high school girls to careers in science, technology, and engineering.  The workshop included hands-on activities and the opportunity to meet successful women engineers, doctors, veterinarians, research scientists, and professors.

The workshop was a success!  Forty-five students attended the event along with 8 parents.
