Girls Inc. of the Pacific Northwest inspires all girls to be strong, smart and bold, which is why are excited to partner with them to engage and empower girls grade 8-12 in our resident community in Nuevo Amanecer and the Cipriano Ferrel Education Center.
Through this partnership the Girls Inc. Cohort Eureka! will deliver STEM-based education to encourage participation in robotics, DNA research, forensic sciences in a college campus environment. Complementary activities include sports, physical fitness, healthy living, and financial literacy fostering educational, professional and personal development.
Currently the cohort has invited up to 45 girls to meet twice per month throughout the remainder of the 2017-2018 school year. This partnership is a prime example of our capacity building strategies through collaborative efforts.
