4th Annual Homebuyer and Community Resource Fair
One of our key initiatives to help families thrive is just around the corner! Our annual Housing and Community Resource Fair, led by our Asset Building department, will be held at Woodburn High School on Saturday, October 17th. Last year, the event drew over 120 families, and we expect a strong turnout this year.

A monumental win for Oregon as Governor Kotek signs bills to fast-track adding housing across the state for middle-income households, seniors, and farmworker families. It was an opportunity to acknowledge positive progress toward meeting the demand for affordable housing.
FHDC Welcomes Leaders for CDVP Development Tour
It was great to come together to see firsthand how far this project has come. FHDC’s Housing Development Manager, Carmen Fernandez, shared about CDVP, “The project also represents FHDC’s unwavering commitment to addressing the housing needs of working families in the Willamette Valley.” This type of work cannot be accomplished by a single entity, and we thank everyone involved for helping bring CDVP to this point.
Asset Management, Resident Services, and Property Management Departments Present at Housing Equity Capacity Building Strategy (HECBS) Training
The team was invited to discuss the experience of identifying/designing a resident services plan for supportive housing projects, as well as best practices for PM, AM, and RS working together. It was an honor to be invited back to share our experience and contribute to the mission and vision of organizations interested in exploring the supportive housing space.
