From across the nation, 1,200 community development leaders, practitioners, policymakers, industry professionals, and National Community Reinvestment Coalition members gathered at the 2024 Just Economy Conference in Washington, DC.
“Across the state — from big and mid-size cities to small, rural towns — Oregonians are straining under the pressure of an increasingly unaffordable housing market,” Governor Kotek said. “But the actions we’re taking today – and will continue to take in the coming years – will be key to creating healthier and safer communities and supporting economic growth.”
Scheduled for construction in Albany, Oregon, the Colonia del Valle Próspero project represents one affordable housing project in a monumental $40 million investment to preserve and construct over 400 affordable homes in Oregon.
