FHDC 2016 Summer Program a Hit!

More than 100 children programs-5-35 participated in FHDC’s Nuevo Amanecer free lunch program this summer! Via a partnership with Woodburn School District, FHDC served free and nutritious meals to youth during their summer break.

Our youth were active this summer! Thanks to amazing volunteers Omar Bonifacio and Lupita Gabriel, FHDC’s youth played basketball and took part in Zumba classes. FHDC also partnered with Girl Scouts of Oregon, Lake Grove Presbyterian Church, and Oregon State University Extension to provide exercising, arts, crafts, and music during the week.
