Asset Building

Asset Building

FHDC believes that individual and family wealth starts with safe and stable housing. One of our goals is to help immigrant and working families break the cycle of poverty that oppressive systems have created. We do this by offering financial education and resources to support families in their pursuit of self- and community actualization, skill development and academic education, better-paying jobs, and homeownership. Our trainings and classes take a peer learning approach that helps integrate an understanding of how financial systems work and how to move from a scarcity to an abundance mindset.
