In the course of the last several months, our 12 unit farmworker community at Esperanza Court in downtown Woodburn underwent upgrades to the building infrastructure to improve exterior siding, floor plan layout and ventilation systems for better air circulation and quality.
As of this month, all twelve families will have been moved back into their homes. Part of the return process includes educating residents on how to best utilize their air cooling and heating systems, and how to tell if the system is functioning properly. Residents are reporting satisfaction with the efficiency of the new upgrades, including more spacious storage in each unit.
Thanks to our partners at LMC Construction for keeping the project on a realistic timeline that so that families could move back into their homes as soon as possible.
