Shaping the Future: Mid-Willamette Valley Affordable Housing Conference

FHDC and Evolve Workforce were happy to attend the recent Affordable Housing Conference put on by the Mid-Willamette Valley Homelessness Alliance covering topics as wide and deep as financing, affordable housing management, housing policy, and workforce housing.

Executive Director, Maria Elena Guerra participated on the panel to share about FHDC and Evolve’s experience in delivering culturally specific housing and the unique needs of our communities. Discussion included staffing challenges, collaboration with city and housing authorities, and partnership to provide supportive services. In sharing our expertise and experience alongside peer organizations doing work across the region, we are moved and hopeful by the collective efforts to prioritize and build affordable housing so that everyone has a place to call home.
