Our heartfelt condolences to the Shadbeh family. Khosrow Shadbeh, father of Emeritus Board Member Nargess Shadbeh, has entered a peaceful rest. He reached the age of 102, making a positive impact on those who were near him. Nargess considers her father her greatest hero, a constant inspiration in her work for farmworkers. He always reminded her whether to serve Iranians or Latinx farmworkers; ultimately, serving farmworkers is the highest calling in her profession. Nargess has been serving farmworkers since 1985 and has focused her practice exclusively on serving migrant and seasonal farmworkers in Oregon.
