The event provided valuable insights into affordable housing in Oregon from industry professionals. It included specialty sessions that spanned two days.
From Housing Opportunity Day to our participation in Habitat for Humanity’s Unlocking Homeownership, the recently concluded legislative session strengthened our ties with affordable housing advocates across the state, fostering a more robust movement for future sessions. Additionally, we engaged in efforts through statewide coalitions, Housing Oregon and the Oregon Housing Alliance, unifying our voices and aligning our missions on behalf of those we serve.
FHDC, in partnership with Evolve Workforce and Multifamily Housing Services, would like to extend heartfelt congratulations to the graduates of the Promotores program. This past week participants celebrated their graduation after successfully completing ten specialized training sessions. The training provided will empower each graduate to effectively represent their communities and act as a bridge to the organization, while also paving the way for prosperity for themselves and their families.
