FHDC is excited to report that an ongoing partnership with the Boys & Girls Club will deliver needed Summer programming to our communities in Woodburn! The Summer Program is a continuation from our 2016-2017 after school programming partnership which served more than 75 students four days per week. This summer, activities will happen Monday – Thursday from 12-2pm. As many as 100 kids are expected to participate.
Youth living in FHDC properties often face challenges to accessing engaging activities and healthy food during the Summer. The summer program bridges these gaps by hosting outdoor activities, arts and crafts, board and computer games, and a free lunch to youth 18 and under. Activities started June 19th and will continue through August as a valuable resource for both parents and kids.
