Since 2014, the Woodburn School District has been offering education to youth at FHDC. Last year the disrict created a preschool for 4 and 5 year olds, available to families that meet 200% or less of the national poverty level qualification. The free school operates Monday thru Friday from 7:30-2:20 inside two classrooms at our Cipriano Ferrel Community Center located at 1274 5 th Street, Suite 1E in Woodburn.
The preschool is an effort by the School District to ensure that youth are prepared for Kindergarten by teaching them social, emotional and academic skills. Recently the Preschool was given a rating of 5 stars by Quality Rating Improvement System. The school’s total capacity per day is about 40 students.
Currently the district is accepting enrollments for the 2017-2018 year. To apply families must meet the following qualifications:
*Students must have turned 4 by September 1, 2017
*Income must fit within the following levels:

El Distrito Escolar de Woodburn ahora ofrece 2 salones de preescolar de día completo con 20 niños en cada uno. El preescolar está ubicado en 1274 5th Street, Suite 1E (Edificio Cipriano en Nuevo Amanecer). El preescolar fue calificado de 5 estrellas por el Sistema de Mejora de Evaluación de Calidad.
Los niños deben tener 4 años de edad antes del 1 de septiembre para ser elegibles.
Las familias cuyos ingresos anuales son 200% o menos del Nivel Federal de Pobreza pueden inscribir a sus hijos en este preescolar de forma gratuita.
